Anthony Farrar
President
Anthony has grown up in the oil and gas business. At the age of 10 years old he swept the floor of his father’s oilfield supply store. Throughout junior high and high school he worked evenings and summers in the oilfield as a shop hand, roustabout, or any other manual labor that was asked of him. In 2004, Anthony graduated summa cum laude from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science (Geology) and a minor in Chemistry. In June of 2004, he rejoined the family business as both a roustabout and a wellsite production foreman. Anthony was allowed to design and perform his own well completions and recompletions. In 2007 he was the company man overseeing a drilling rig for the first time. In 2009, Anthony helped to raise capital and develop a successful drilling prospect. As President, Anthony works to guide Indian Oil into its next phase of growing the company. Anthony also serves as the President of the Medicine Lodge City Council.
