Jim Smith

Jim has been in the oilfield since 1981 when he began pumping wells at the age of 16. When he turned 18, he went to work for Harper Oilfield Service as a roustabout. In the late 1980’s Jim worked for Clarke’s Oilfield as a roustabout, backhoe operator, and truck driver. Jim has been with Indian Oil Co., Inc. since the beginning. He has been a part of the team since 1992, where he worked at Farrar Pump and Supply and Jack’s Engine and Machine as a pump technician and mechanic. Jim is an expert in field diagnosis, as he can problem solve and improve oil and gas lease production with ease. He coordinates and supervises subcontracted services such as roustabouts, electricians, and pumpers. He is a very knowledgeable and invaluable member of Indian Oil, with a focus on production optimization.
