First of all, we just want to thank you for being a part of the Indian Oil family. We greatly appreciate your efforts to keep your wells running and maintained for better efficiency.

Here at Indian Oil, we are always striving to be more efficient in everything we do, and you are a huge part of that. Our goal is to utilize the technology available to diagnose well performance daily and catch problems as soon as they occur rather than dragging them out for days or even weeks.

You are key to helping us get good, accurate data when you input well data daily into GreaseBook.

Daily Process

Here is the process that we need to see daily in the field and for every well that you pump:

Before you leave the well, input the following data into GreaseBook:

Tank gauges
Gas Sales
Run tickets and water hauls
Input any time a well is down.
1. Simply tap on the plus icon “+”.
2. Select “Downtime”.
3. Enter number of Days or Hours Down by changing the dropdown option
4. Select Downtime Reason from the dropdown menu (if you select “Other” you'll be forced to type a comment with the Downtime reason – it's important we communicate what's happening in the field!
5. Finally hit “Save” and you’re all set!
You can also run a test on each well.
1. Adding a new Well Test is as simple as adding a new Well Measurement.
2. First select a Battery, then select a Well
3. Simply tap the plus icon “+”
4. Select “Test” from the list of options
5. Select the date of the Test.
6. Enter your test duration in hours. (Default is 24 hrs, but you can enter any duration)
7. Input the values of Oil, Gas and Water.
Always add comments when something changes with the well to keep everyone updated.
